Section 1
Annual Retraining Seminar

A) The annual seminar shall be held in May and hosted by an Active member of the Association. Lodging expensed for the President shall be paid for.

B) Registration will be held on Wednesday. Training will be conducted on Thursday and Friday, for a total of sixteen hours. Dates and locations will be furnished to all members in the seminar registration packet.

C) Each member attending all training classes will be awarded a certification displaying the hourly credit earned for the training.

D) Certificates shall be given out at the conclusion of the final training class.

E) Collecting door prizes shall be the responsibility of all members (Active, Associate and Privileged).

F) The Segeant-at-Arms will conduct the installation ceremony of the new officers at the banquet.The ceremony will consist of the Oath of Office, Candlelight Ceremony, and Pinning Ceremony
NCLEWA pins, inscribed with office title, shall be passed down from year to year and shall remain the property of the Association.

G) The Sergeant-at-Arms will conduct the installation and pinning ceremonies for the incoming officers at the banquet, using the established ceremonial procedures.
Privileged member Rita Holiman (retired Winston-Salem Police Department) will handle the ordering of those plaques. This will be done at the direction of the present Woman of the Year.


Section 2
International Association of Women Police

A) The President or her designee MAY attend the annual International Police Women's Association Conference. If the President is unable to attend, her designee will represent the Association.

B) The Association shall pay $100.00 toward seminar expenses of the above attendee.
