The membership present at the Association meting shall be responsible for voting on an Association representative to serve on the North Carolina Criminal Justice Training and Standards Commission, as the seat becomes vacant every three years.

A) The present representative shall be required to report at all association board and general membership meetings the progress of the Commission.

B) A designee will be appointed by the Association President to attend Commission meetings with the Association representative, or in the representatives absence.

C) The Associations representative shall draft a letter giving the designee voting powers by proxy at Commission meetings. Said designee shall present said letter to the Commission so that she/he be allowed to vote in the representative's absence.
