A Note from Sgt. Ann Trochum (retired)

A fund has been set up to help any female law enforcement officer who feels that she might have been a victim of discrimination or harassment, or retaliation (after the fact of complaining to someone about being discriminated against or harassed). The fund has been set up to pay for their consultation fee ($150.00) to see my attorney to find out if they have a legitimate case or not. Whether they do or don't, their fee will still be paid by me.

The reason I set this trust fund up to help other females in law enforcement is that I know most cannot afford to even pay a consultation fee and would therefore not pursue whether they had a case or not. This way I can at least help them to get legal advice to see where they stand. I'll be glad to answer any more questions you may have or even come to speak about the fund at one of your meetings. I just want to get the word out to as many departments as I can.
